of Harderwijk

This Academy of Harderwijk existed from
1648 until 1811.
The Academie will never be forgotten
because of the prominent people
that were graduated students here
or famous professors, like Boerhaave and
Linnaeus.
Boerhaave the famous medical professor.
Lineaus the world famous inventor of the
botanical system.
This place is full of powers and
emanations of energies.
To the right is the Medical Faculty of
Boerhaave.
To the left the Herbal Garden of
Linnaeus.
Straight ahead is the main building and
the University Chapel.
The little tower and gateway in the
middle is the famous symbol of the Academy.
